The farm is located about 120km south of Bangkok. It is 8km northeast of Phetchaburi town.

The tributary that flows through the area is part of the Phetchaburi River. The river’s source is the famous rain forest national park of Keng Krachan National Park which is only 50km to the west and the well-known Khao Ta Krao Temple is only 3km away and is accessible by road or river.
The area surrounding the farm is rural and rustic with rice paddies, coconut groves, fruit orchards and animal farms.
The seaside with its mangrove swamps is 5km away and there is a beach 20km away. The famous beach resort of Cha-am is 40km away.
You leave Don Muang Airport and go towards downtown Bangkok. Follow the road signs (blue color) for DING DAENG / BANG NA / DAO KHANONG EXPRESSWAY (elevated toll way) . After about 15 km you reach a 2. tollgate (DIN DAENG) , some 6 km later there is a fork in the road, left side to BANG NA, you follow the right side to DAO KHANON until the toll way ends (11 km later) at Rama II. Street. You follow that road for about 10 km (passing Big C and Lotus Department stores). At the big junction right after “Lotus” you go straight to Samut Sakhon , this is the No. 35 motor way.
After about 10 km you pass Samut Sakhon and after 45 km Samut Songkram, then you pass the bridge over the Maekhlong river and about 10 km later there is a fork in the road: To the right Rachaburi, to the left (your way) Phetchaburi. You are now on the A4 motorway.
After about 35 km you reach the outskirts of Phetchaburi
In front of the town there is a fork in the road (at the fly over), the A 4 turns right, you turn slightly left towards the city. After about 1,5 km there is a T-junction. You turn left (there are road signs to the railway station and Khao Luang cave). After about 1 kilometer you turn right into the road leading to the railway station. You pass the station and after some 500 meters you cross the railway track on your left.
Now you are on the road to Banlaem and Wat Khao Ta Krao. The road number is 3176 . You follow that road about 8 km. You pass a PTT gas station on your right, paddy fields and farmhouses. Some sign boards “Wat Khao Ta Klao” show you the way. Then there is Wat PaKhlong on your right and Wachirathamsopit school on your left. If you got lost around there, you can ask for “Baan Thomas” (which means “Thomas’ house”), most people know it, while Datofarm is still not very familiar to locals.
Right behind there is a sharp curve to the right and a Thai style Sala on the left. There is a first sign board “DATO-FARM”. There you turn left into a narrow concrete lane. You follow this lane for about 600 meters and you see the second sign board “DATO FARM” on your left. You enter the small path and at its end (about 50 meters) you turn right and you are there.
